Marvel/Disney have released some rather cool promotional preview pix to give us a taste of what next years megablockbuster "The AVENGERS" will look like. Though not officially confirmed, the main baddies seem to be a motley collection of "aliens" who are part of an invasion force summoned by LOKI so that he can rule the Earth and make all those hot Scandinavian women slaves or something. Rumours of the Skrulls and THANOS are plenty which would be seriously epic and expand the Marvel Universe beyond the mythic. The look of the movie so far is pretty much spot on, though I did have reservations about CAP'S new 21st century outfit. A little too sleek maybe. Dunno. We'll see. Basically impressed with everything else and as he did in THOR, I expect Tom Hiddleston as LOKI to dominate the flick and be nothing short of fucking amazing. May 2012 needs to hurry up.

GODS AMONG MEN: THOR AND LOKI ON THE SET OF THE AVENGERS

Dated Sept 2nd, this is a gorgeous shot revealing the exquisite detail on the costumes worn by Tom Huddleston and Chris Hemsworth as Loki and Thor respectively. Along with the rest of the Avengers, they appear to be filming a scene near the climax of the movie and there are a number of papz shots floating around online which are too spoilerific to post here imho. Movie is looking good and is a defnite must see come 2012. 

Electric Snapshot: THOR (2011)

UNTO JOTUNHEIM - LAND OF THE FROST GIANTS

Marvel's THOR is my favourite comic character back from when I was a kid buying the AVENGERS comic at the age of 10. Despite some plot reservations, I thought the movie was a pretty good shot at putting the Odinson on screen. This is a fantastic image and comes from the arrival and confrontation with the Frost Giants. Love it loads.
