ANNE HATHAWAY as CATWOMAN in DARK KNIGHT RISES

Continuing with the BATMAN theme from the previous post, check out Chris Nolan's take on the new CATWOMAN with Anne Hathaway squeezed into the leather outfit. Ok, I dunno. Kind of meh. Women in leather should ring my bell but this is pretty safe from what I can see. Then again, I hated Burton's take with Michelle Pfeiffer so what the hell do I know. Like the bike though. Anyway, none of them are as hot as Julie Newmar. Now there was one cool pussycat.

A very cool first high rez shot from Marvel's the AVENGERS due May 2012. Nice detailed close up of Chris Evans as Cap in his new costume. They got his WWII outfit right with the Paratrooper retro vibe and I'm liking this version a lot. After seeing the trailer I'm pretty happy with the overall look and hope Whedon can pull this thing off. I loved the Avengers comic as a kid so this is the major release as far as I'm concerned for next year. AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!

Oh wow, just came across this. An atmospheric first preview of my most anticipation movie for a long time. Years ago, I used to buy the Edgar Rice Burroughs inspired Marvel comic "John Carter: Warlord of Mars." in the American A5 format. Loved the design and the sense of a stranger in a strange land theme. Fingers crossed that the final movie is as good as that pre-pro image. 2012 is such a long way away dammit....
